Clark Gregg will be in Joss Whedon's 'S.H.I.E.L.D.'

New York Comic-Con served up some fan-pleasing news this weekend, as it was announced that Clark Gregg's Agent Phil Coulson will be on Joss Whedon's "S.H.I.E.L.D." TV series.

Although it appeared that Gregg's Agent Coulson didn't have anything to look forward to after this year's "The Avengers" movie, as Comic Book Resources reports, it turns out he does.

"We all love Clark Gregg, there's no doubt about that," Whedon said. "From before we made 'The Avengers,' we discussed whether there was a way for him to be a part of the Marvel universe, perhaps a part of a TV show after his death. ... He's headlining the S.H.I.E.L.D. show and always was."

It's unclear how Agent Coulson's story arc in "The Avengers" will impact his return in the ABC show, which the network announced a pilot order for in August.

If the latest “American Horror Story” preview is any clue, its new season should be killer.

The first five minutes of Wednesday’s season premiere were recently released online, and it looks like the FX drama’s second installment, set in an asylum for the criminally insane, is full of killers, nymphomaniacs, psychopaths and Zachary Quinto in a skinny tie.

Things aren't what they seem on 'Walking Dead'

[Editor's Note: This post contains spoilers for the third season premiere of "The Walking Dead" - you've been warned!]

The "more zombies, less talk" crowd should be pleased.

On Sunday's premiere of "The Walking Dead," the very first shot (with apologies, one presumes, to "Lost") zoomed out of a Walker's eyeball, giving us their point of view as a home they'd infested was infiltrated by our group of survivors.

It was the first of many action sequences in the premiere, each one gorier and more gripping than the last.

Alfonso Ribeiro ties the knot

If there was ever a time to crank Tom Jones' "It's Not Unusual," this would be it - in honor of Alfonso Ribeiro's recent nuptials, of course.

Ribeiro, who occasionally humors "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" fans by doing the dance move his character was famous for, married fiancee Angela Unkrich over the weekend.
