Breakup rumors abound for Russell Crowe, wifeReports are circulating that Russell Crowe and his wife of nine years, Danielle Spencer, have gone their separate ways. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the 48-year-old actor has been "throwing himself into work" in the wake of the split, which the paper says was amicable.
CNN's reached out to reps for the Oscar winner and Spencer, but has yet to hear back. Spencer, a musician, and Crowe reportedly first met on the set of "The Crossing" 22 years ago, and later married in 2003. They have two sons together, an 8-year-old and a 6-year-old, both of whom are reportedly with Spencer in Sydney while Crowe is filming Darren Aronofsky's "Noah" stateside. Regardless of what may be happening in Crowe's private life, his professional schedule is jam-packed. As the Australian paper notes, Crowe has a number of projects coming out over the next few years, including December's "Les Miserables" and January's "Broken City."
