Justin Bieber got a little bit of revenge on the gossip hounds Friday.
After he tweeted Wednesday that his computer and camera - containing "personal footage" - were stolen, rumors surfaced claiming that a naked photo of the 18-year-old singer had been leaked (it wasn't him) and speculators tittered about the possibility a Bieber sex tape.
On Twitter that same day, a user by the name of @gexwy seemed to have the footage Bieber was bummed about losing, taunting, "good job with the password protected @justinbieber. weak ... @justinbieber notice us and answer your dms or we are going to put the other videos from the camera out!"
By Thursday, after sharing a variety of innocuous video clips featuring the Biebs, @gexwy grew more insistent, tweeting, "@justinbieber i got your stupid dms. i dont think so. gonna show the world. TOMORROW! ... u've been warned. should of listened @justinbieber."
When Friday arrived, Bieber cryptically began tweeting "noon" along with links to various media reports about the secret footage fiasco.
But no, there isn't any stolen footage - other than the clever clips that open Bieber's music video with Nicki Minaj for "Beauty and a Beat," which he wrote, shot and directed:
"Since i was 14 i have had a lot of things said about me, from dying, to taking hormones, to dying again, to stuff about my family ...To saying i had a baby with a woman i never even met. nude pics, drugs, my family, my character," Bieber posted Friday. "But today...today i get to be in on it..."
