Another Rebel Wilson comedy on the way?Rebel Wilson's year just keeps getting better. The actress/comedian, whose stardom took off with last summer’s “Bridesmaids” and has continued with this fall’s “Pitch Perfect," has sold an untitled comedy project to Universal Studios, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Wilson's career has been on a steady climb since her small role in “Bridesmaids," the Kristen Wiig vehicle that became the second-highest grossing R-rated comedy of the summer in 2011, according to Box Office Mojo. She then got another break when a different Wilson (Casey) left September's “Bachelorette,” THR reports, and "Pitch Perfect" is adding to her success. The film, for which Wilson was the first actor booked, has made more than $23 million at the box office, and on a $17 million budget, no less. Wilson's Universal project doesn't yet have a title or a fixed date, but the good news is that she'll act in the comedy in addition to writing and producing it.
