John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John reunite for Christmas album

It's been more than three decades since John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John made their first single together, and the pair are reuniting for the holidays.

Travolta and Newton-John have collaborated on a holiday album called "This Christmas," which will be available on November 13. The album will feature an original song from the "Grease" stars titled "I Think You Might Like It," a sequel to their best-selling duet, "You're The One That I Want."

That song actually sparked the idea for "This Christmas," as the news that the 1978 track from the "Grease" film was an all-time best-seller prompted Newton-John to text the headline to her singing partner over the holidays.

"From the moment we decided to do this, magic happened,” Travolta said in a statement. “Everyone we contacted agreed to do it.”

"This Christmas" also features contributions from Barbra Streisand, Kenny G, Cliff Richard and Tony Bennett, among others. The idea behind the holiday album was to create an "audio equivalent" of a classic Christmas TV special.

“My desire was to make This Christmas an intimate album, not something too ostentatious or showy,” Travolta said. “I wanted people to be able to play it around the house or in the car during the holidays, and make us part of your celebration. Gathering around house listening to Christmas music has always been an important part of that time of the year to my family.”

Newton-John added that working with her "Grease" co-star again was just like old times. "John and I have always connected. That’s never gone away," she said in the statement. "When we’re together, we have a good laugh and feel bonded to one another. We’ve been through some amazing experiences together.”

Proceeds from the album will benefit Travolta and Newton-John's respective causes, the Jett Travolta Foundation and the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre in Melbourne, Australia.

I thought Travolta was a Scientologist. Is he singing "Have a merry Zenu Christmas" or what?

We know, Sokman. You'd hit anything with a pulse. Doesn't say much for you, now does it? Hey, you should cruise on down to the local nursing home. I'll bet there are a lot of old women that would like to get a little. Probably more up your alley anyway. lmao

It has become glaringly obvious that Travolta is gayer than Elton John.
