What are 'parent trigger' laws?

   Listen up, folks. The reason that "parent trigger laws" are NEVER, and I mean NEVER, going to actually be used is because the failing schools are directly linked to POVERTY and UNEDUCATED PARENTS. These moms (because most ARE moms and grandmoms and aunts etc, since men don't sticks around in these situations) don't have time to battle anything if they're working 3 jobs to get by. And guess what? These schools aren't failing because of the teachers, NOPE. They're failing because of the lack of support, money, food, sleep and sometimes attention/love at home. How could I know this? Because I've taught there. I LOVE teaching, anyone anywhere. I do not shirk the ghettos, I love doing it. But I cannot brush each child's teeth, feed them, hug them, read to them, cloth them ... no, because after 3 pm, they go home to an empty house ... sometimes this is because mom is working to make ends meet, sometimes is because mom is an alcoholic. Either way, there isn't ENOUGH for this child to grow and prosper. I can only do as much as my human body and heart will allow me to between 7-3pm.

   If you disagree, you can absolute kiss my posterior because you have NO IDEA what it is like to be in a school like that... and I. DO.
