Today's news you might've missed:

  • Lindsay Lohan's tweets have been weird, lately, right? Well, it seems that the talk about how Hitler tied his shoes was the work of a hacker, but the tweets about Superstorm Sandy - "WHY is everyone in SUCH a panic about hurricane (i'm calling it Sally)..? Stop projecting negativity! Think positive and pray for peace" - appears to have been all Lohan as she did not delete it. [Lindsay Lohan's Twitter]
  • Uh-oh: Is there trouble in engaged paradise for Steven Tyler and fiancee Erin Brady? We hope not - we really wanted to see what band would play at an Aerosmith wedding. [Page Six]
  • Oh, what could've been! Ben Affleck wanted to direct episodes for "Homeland," which, judging from his last two directorial successes, probably would've been pretty boss. But, since his wife Jennifer Garner was working at the time, he had to stand down. Affleck isn't blaming his spouse, but it sounds like a few "Homeland" fans are ... [Us Weekly]
  • We love how all Entertainment Weekly had to do to entice us to view a new "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" teaser was give us a photo of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart with the headline, "Bedtime?" We're betting that you, too, are that easy. Video at the link! [EW]

Limited edition of Rihanna's album costs $250

Ahead of the November 19 global release of her newest album, "Unapologetic," Rihanna's launching an ambitious mini-tour.

The singer will do seven different shows in seven different countries over a span of seven days starting November 14.

If you haven't picked up on it yet, the number seven is important, as "Unapologetic" is her seventh studio album in seven years. (Does anyone else have the urge to play the lottery after reading that?)

'Jersey Shore' cast on Sandy devastation

With New Jersey "seeing the worst crisis it's seen in a long time," as Newark Mayor Cory Booker told CNN Wednesday, the MTV reality stars who came to fame from their time spent in Seaside Heights say they're devastated over the damage done to their "second home."

The "Jersey Shore" crew filmed hours at the famed boardwalk and in the now familiar Seaside home, which according to the Hollywood Reporter has withstood Sandy's wrath.

IMDb users pick top 10 horror movies of all time

Just in time for Halloween, IMDb.com published a list of the top 10 horror movies of all time as voted for and rated by the site's users, and you might be surprised at what made the cut.

Instead of the typical horror staples like "Rosemary's Baby," "A Nightmare on Elm Street" or "Halloween," the list is populated with unexpected entries like 2009's "Zombieland" (No. 6), 2007's "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" (No. 10) and 2004's "Shaun of the Dead" (No. 3).

Bryan Singer signs on for 'X-Men' sequel

Bryan Singer had a hand in "X-Men: First Class," but the filmmaker's now reportedly stepping into a larger role for its sequel.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Singer will indeed be the guy to fill the director's chair now that Matthew Vaughn has stepped down from the job.
