Amanda Bynes is doing 'amazing'Recent headlines might suggest otherwise, but Amanda Bynes says she's doing just fine, thank you. The 26-year-old is facing two hit-and-run charges after an earlier arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence, not to mention allegations of oddball behavior (reportedly locking herself in a dressing room for close to two hours; taking her top off during Spin class to adjust her makeup, etc.).
But the actress herself told People magazine that she's not troubled in the least. "I am doing amazing," Bynes said. Although she "unretired" for a moment back in 2010 with the comedy "Easy A," Bynes confirmed that (at the moment, at least) she's "retired as an actor." Her future plans include "moving to New York to launch my career" and starting a fashion line. She also declined to talk about her April arrest, which occurred after she allegedly hit a cop car, "because I don't drink, and I don't drink and drive. It is all false."

Who in these blogs hasn't done crazy – maybe stupid – stuff? Sure, there are extremes and she seems to have been pushing them, but who doesn't when you're a kid? And don't you just love how someone can turn something as simple as an actress-gone-awry into a political jab about the Left? Seems to me like a blatant display of the lack of intelligence that people really have. I find it funny that so many people in the Republican party (my party affiliation, mind you) feel that it is necessary to judge, then use Jesus as their poster child. Judge not, lest ye be judged?
