Alison Pill's fiance on topless tweet"The Newsroom's" Alison Pill isn't the first celebrity to have a social networking mishap, but she and her fiancee have proven that they can at least have a sense of humor about it. Pill, 26, tweeted a topless self-portrait of herself Wednesday and swiftly removed it, but not before what felt like the entire Internet had taken a look.
"Yep. That picture happened," Pill admitted Wednesday afternoon. "Ugh. My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently. How a deletion turned into a tweet... Apologies." Her fiance, Jay Baruchel, tried to look on the bright side: "My fiancee is an hilarious dork," he posted, after retweeting her apology. "#im[j]ustgladitdidnthappentomefirst." According to Us Weekly, Baruchel, 30, asked for Pill's hand in December 2010, and the Canadian pair intend to tie the knot in Quebec. On Thursday, Baruchel voiced gratitude for the kindness users have bestowed on the couple. "You guys have shown the missus and I a lot of love and it is appreciated," he wrote. "#respect."
