LeAnn Rimes celebrates 30th birthdayLeAnn Rimes has kissed her 20s good-bye, and not a moment too soon. The country singer turns 30 today, and she's been so ready to reach the milestone that she started celebrating nearly two weeks ago.
The theme of her August 18 birthday bash, held amongst 20 close friends and family members in Laguna Beach, was "Die, 20s, die!," People magazine reports. (We'd love to see Sandra Lee tackle that tablescape.) "I've been ready to leave my 20s behind," Rimes told the magazine. "I had so many amazing things happen in my 20s, but I also had a lot of hard lessons to learn." Rimes, who saw a divorce and a new marriage in her 20s, had second husband Eddie Cibrian by her side. After she blew out the candles on her "death to 20s" birthday cake, she went straight for a birthday kiss from the actor. The cake, which had a replica of Rimes in a bikini happily standing atop a coffin - the one that holds her 20s, obviously - was meant to be emblematic of Rimes "stompin'" out that age range. "I really have been truly excited about turning 30," she told People. "I'm ready to be stronger than ever. It's a new chapter."

She needs to stop with these PR attempts. Her behavior in her personal life has cost her the respect of most of the public and her career is circling the toilet. She plays "happy" but it just looks like a facade. Too bad someone who once had such promise has chosen to go this route and let their personal life completely overtake their professional one.

I truly don't understand why Leann can't see every little thing she does makes her seem truly revolting to the outside world. Confidence is great but try to so obviously love yourself a little less honey, it ain't doing you any favors!!!
I saw them at Lambert"s Bar BQ in Austin drinking Jack n cokes. I had the pulled pork and it was good.
