'Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars' pair upIt turns out the new "All-Stars" season of "Dancing with the Stars" will not only bring back contestants of yore, but also past celebrity/pro dancer pairings. As Entertainment Weekly points out, Emmitt Smith will once again hit the floor with Cheryl Burke; Joey Fatone with Kym Johnson; and Bristol Palin with Mark Ballas. But ABC is keeping some of its pairings fresh. Check out the full list after the jump:
There's one celebrity/pro pairing that we're still waiting to see, and it'll depend on which contestant the viewers vote to be the 13th celebrity on the "All-Stars" season. Kyle Massey, Carson Kressley and Sabrina Bryan are in the midst of competing to return to the dance competition, and viewer voting is open until Friday, August 24 at 12 p.m. PT. The star viewers vote to come back for another attempt at winning the Mirror Ball trophy will be revealed on "Good Morning America" August 27.

Wow, such brutal remarks! It's just a show people – just a show. It's entertaining and that's all that counts for me. If I don't care for a particular celeb, I go do something else for the 90 seconds. BTW, I really hope Sabrina gets a second chance to compete – she was robbed before.
has anyone heard whether the bad press going around about max will keep him from participating in the new season of DWTS ? i'm not making accusations– just wondering if he will be put out before they check things out.

I'm very disappointed that DWTS is doing some repeat celeb&pro pairings for this all-star version. Whatever happened to keeping it fresh? We've already seen some of these couples dance together before, show us something that isn't 'been there, done that'. Plus, won't the couples who've already danced together before have a bit of an edge over the others, since there's already an understanding of teaching styles, personalities, etc.?

I love the Kirstie and Max/ Tony and Melissa pair ups! I don't like some of the other people, but that is ok. Lay off of Palin and Shawn. Why all the hate for Bristol? What's so facinating and compelling about her is she is not a celebrity or an entertainer but yet she done quite well. So what if she's not a star. I'd rather see the whole Palin clan up there dancing than have to suffer through one more Kardashian. I mean, common. Talk about the 15 minutes being up. I'm still not sure why they are even famous?

I love this show but didnt watch the season with Bristol. Now I have to miss the Allstars. She is the most annoying person along with her family. There are so many other stars that I would of loved to see, such as Kristen Cavalleri or Marie Osmond.

I would love for Sabrina Bryan to come back...just to kick Helio's behind since Mel B is not returning, but her former partner is already paired (to Bristol Palin...I won't even go there). Sabrina and Mark had really great chemistry. Hoping for Kyle Massey (noticing that Lacey is not on the list and she was his partner...Hmm)!
