Katy Perry new Popchips spokespersonKaty Perry may have said that she's looking forward to a break, but the singer isn't taking one before snapping up another business opportunity. The 27-year-old is the new spokesperson for Popchips, and will serve as a "brand ambassador" for the company in an ad campaign in the fall, the Los Angeles Times reports.
This isn't just a promotional deal for the celebrity juggernaut, however, as she’s also an investor. Ashton Kutcher, who found himself embroiled in controversy after his own Popchips ad, also has a stake in the healthy chips brand, which has earned rave reviews by other stars like Jennifer Hudson. Believe it or not, Perry has Twitter to thank for her latest business venture: While promoting her biographical film "Part of Me," Perry mentioned her introduction to the snack courtesy of a stash in her hotel minibar. "I read the back of the label and saw that it was a healthier choice,” she later explained about stumbling across the tasty find. “I was hooked after my first bite! When I discover something good, I want to share it with everyone I know, so I tweeted about it," she shared in a statement. Hopefully Perry's ad campaign will be executed differently from Ashton Kutcher's. If you'll recall, Kutcher’s campaign, which featured a series of fake dating videos, included one that sparked outcry in May as it featured Kutcher in brown make-up portraying a character named Raj.

What a hoax, if you check the total serving nutritional information you will notice, there are more carbs and exactly the same amount of Calories per normal 50g serving.

I think Katy Perry is very talented & beautiful. I don't know what she saw in that Russel B. He looks unclean & very unattractive. She could have anyone she wanted.

Chick's been around two years and is already making us yawn...
For the ones that talk and work with Katy... she is very changed.
When she was married she looked everyone like if they where on some steps below her. Now she is humble. She takes care and thinks before talking or writing. She lost her nose up and crashed back to land... and it looks like she found out how to be happy without thinking that she was the best of the world.
Kinda strange for someone that knew her 2 years ago... she does have the same look but she thinks very different. Sometimes more like a teenager that knows what life is.
I took my niece and her friends to see her in concert last year. The girls talk about her to this day. They 3> her!:)
