Sylvester Stallone: Let my son rest in peaceThe news of Sage Stallone's death has left some questioning the cause, but his father, action star Sylvester Stallone, has asked for everyone to cease the speculation and let his son rest in peace. Sage passed away at 36 on Friday, and the cause of death is still unknown. An autopsy was completed on Sunday, and a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Coroner told CNN this weekend that the cause of death won't be officially known for another two months.
Dad Sylvester has since spoken out about what he calls "speculation and questionable reporting" on Sage's death, asking for compassion. "When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain," the 66-year-old actor said. "Therefore I am imploring people to respect my wonderfully talented son's memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha, because this agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives." Sylvester continued, "Sage was our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son's memory and soul left in peace." At the time of his death, Sage was engaged to be married, his lawyer told Los Angeles TV station KNBC, and was working on a variety of film projects.

a strong, rich, famous person with power yet still needs to feel his son's skin near him to feel even stronger
his son:
feeling his father skin, completely protected and secure by him .
Feeling your parents against you...is a different kind of love more innocent yet stil creating power and strength towards their child no matter how old they are...
affection is so amazing.
we need to condition our brains and understand a father in complete hysteria, and rage over the death of his son which many fathers who have lost sons are feeling their own memories of their own losses at this moment.

I am sorry for the loss of your son. The picture shown is a beutiful picture and shows a lot of love between a father and son. As i read some of the comments here, it is sad as some people placed some insensitive comments on here. It is so hurtful for a family to read some of these tweets.
Take it from one Sly to another, People are going to find out your son was a Pole-Smoker, one way or another. It's going to come out. Just like your son should have. It's not going to hurt your macho image if your son died of aids.

I agree with you. Trolls are relentless on certain people. If you've been here a while, you can tell the real person from the troll, but that probably doesn't make those being trolled all the time feel better. Just plain sad.

i will be 50 years old– but lost my father...looking a that beautiful pic reminded of the affection my dad gave me....
now i give that same affection to my son. sly must be crushed...rip kiddo
look at the comfort in both father and son...no fear of affection towards each other...tear.
i never begged or asked for affection i just received ... just like the rest of the family did...my uncle still gives his daughter a light kiss tap on her shoulder and she's 40 years old we are very blessed in my home...and i wish everyone could have the affection we have.
Its sad that a Father has to 'ASK' for that kind of compassion and respect..
It shows how far society has come away from even the most common of decency.

I have lost a child and it is true – there is no greater loss a parent can endure – the grief stays with us the rest of our lives – we don't get over we learn to live with it – broken heart and all – grief is a roller coaster – buckle up – hang on – get grief counseling. I try to deal with my grief in a healthy and productive way but sometimes, grief slaps me around a bit. I pray for my daughter to send me strength and I fight through.

I too lost my only child. She was 14 and what you said is so true. It is something you learn to live with but the griefbursts still come. It has been almost 6 years and some days it feels like yesterday. I just wanted to let you know you are not alone. God bless you. I always say which is a comfort to me: No one can hurt her, she is GOd's loving arms.

So sorry JJ, I too lost a child when he was 20, your description of the feelings you have as a parent nailed it right on the head. Up and down, try to keep it positive, but sometimes you just get slapped upside the head with the grief. I'm fortunate enough to have 4 other beautiful children and they help make me keep life positive because they deserve it and makes me appreciate my few precious moments I get to have Thames in my life.
