Alec Baldwin 'quits' Twitter, but is he gone for good?And just like that, he was gone. One of Twitter’s most tweet-happy celebs, Alec Baldwin, appears to have shut down his personal account - well, one of them, anyway.
The newlywed star, who married yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas over the weekend, seemed to pull the plug on his @alecbaldwin page on Monday. "It's been fun," the "30 Rock" star reportedly wrote before shutting it down, per the New York Daily News. He didn’t list any reason for his sudden departure. But followers of the Alec Baldwin Foundation Twitter page - a foundation that supports arts and artists, according to its description - received the same message, and that page appears to be up and running. This isn't the first time the 54-year-old has stepped away from Twitter - remember how he deactivated his account last December after he was thrown off a flight for playing Words with Friends? For now, if you're missing him, it seems there's always @ABFalecbaldwin. |
