'Dallas' makes a comeback - what other shows do you want to return?"Dallas" premieres Wednesday night on TNT (which is owned by the same parent company as CNN), and the resurrection of the primetime soap got us thinking: what other series do we wish would return to the small screen, picking up where they left off? Imagine being able to find out what happened to that beloved character you used to check in with every week. Here are just a few series that we'd want to see get the "Dallas" treatment:
"My So Called Life" Oh, Angela Chase, wherefore art thou? The angsty teen played by Claire Danes would be in her early 30s by now, and we are dying to discover whether Jordan Catalano got his act together and if he and Angela are parents living in the suburbs. "Family Matters" Two words: Steve Urkel. The world's most famous African American nerd had finally won the heart of his long-time love Laura Winslow, who accepted his marriage proposal in the 1998 series finale. So did they get married? Did Urkel's alter-ego, the dashing Stefan Urquelle (also played by the actor who portrayed Urkel, Jaleel White) attend the wedding? And more importantly, who did the kids turn out to look like?
"Boy Meets World" When last we left Corey Matthews and his childhood sweetheart-turned-lovely wife Topanga, they were pursuing their dreams in New York. Did they make it there or did they make it anywhere? True confession: We really want to see if Corey's best friend Shawn is still hot!
"Veronica Mars" Now here is a show that was gone too soon. We had a serious thing for teen sleuth V. Mars, and we know that she'd be a super successful FBI agent by now, or maybe even a profiler. The possibilities for cases would be endless.
"Wonder Years" Viewers already heard the voice of adult Kevin Arnold (played as a youth by Fred Savage and voiced as an adult by Daniel Stern), and they also learned a bit about Kevin's adulthood in the series finale. But the cynic in us is still hoping that he ended up with Winnie. Is that wrong?

As has been said MANY times...bring back Legend Of The Seeker. It is my all time favorite show and now that I finished watching it, I am left with a void. I need more Seeker. Craig Horner, Bridget Regan, Bruce Spence and Tabrett Bethell were all absolutely amazing and easily became some of my favorite actors from this show.

I've never even heard of this Legend of the Seeker! I want back Buffy and Charmed. I want more Angel. That show had the WORST cliff hanger series finale! TERRIBLE!!
Branden. I am a really big Charmed fan. It is the only TV show I owned on DVD (all 7 seasons), that is until I saw Legend of the Seeker about 2 months ago on Amazon. Now I own not 1 but 2 sets of the DVD of LotS. If you are a Charmed fan you must see Legend of the Seeker. I promise you will like it. Charmed – Book of Shadows, LotS – Book of Counted Shadows. Charmed – Elders and the Source, LotS – Creator and Keeper of the Underworld. Watch i,t you will love it.

I earlier saw a comment saying Legend of the Seeker has terrible acting and I WHOLE-HEARTEDLY DISAGREE Legend of the Sekker was the best of the best!!!! Literally!! It was based the best book series every (Thank you Terry Goodkind for you Sword of Truth series) and turned into one of the BEST shows ever!!!!! It was cancled due to low ratings, well that happens when it airs at bad timing and there was little to none advertising! The acting was amazing how was it not? That is a question I would REALLY love to know the answer? Sure some GUESS actors/actresses were bad (S2,Ep4, Annabella or whoever was one of the last confessors and confessed Richard in that episode, when she was running away from the cave and fell, that was bad), otherwise idk how u can say it was bad acting. Bridget Regan (aka Kahlan) is married and looked COMPELETLY IN LOVE with Richard. How is that bad? The plot was amazing and wasn't typical tv, aka he cheated on her with my gf bc blah blah blah, or oh no! Murder and it has a true love story that really CAN'T BE!!!!! Unlike that vampire crap. Well I'm done here

there is only one show I want back and that is One Life to Live. Not always the best stories or acting but more consistant than most on daytime and nighttime. I watched for 40 something years and still feel as if I lost family members.

First and foremost, ONE LIFE TO LIVE. Considered by many industry commentators as the most artistically strong soap still airing, as well as the highest-rated soap on ABC in 2011, OLTL should never have ended in the first place this past January, and I lament its absence every single day. I will await its return for the rest of my life, if that's how long it takes.
Secondly, I would like ALL MY CHILDREN to be returned to the airwaves; although it was not as strong in its final years as OLTL was, given the proper stewardship (production and writing teams) and creative control, the show could very well be successful again. And further, we all want to know: "Who did JR shoot?" - That was no way to end a 41-year-old drama! The stories must live on.
And, while I never watched them, I would love for other soaps such as AS THE WORLD TURNS, GUIDING LIGHT, and ANOTHER WORLD to be returned to the airwaves, for the fans that miss them so much, and to revitalize the soap genre, perhaps even restore it to its former glory. A pipe dream? Perhaps, but I truly believe it can be done, and that doing so would be a worthy and rewarding venture.

I would love to see Legend of the Seeker come back and actually get the audience it deserves. This show was found by me on accident and I fell in love instantly. The problem is, finding the show was nearly impossilbe (until it ended up on Netflix) and the show was cancelled for "low ratings". They should bring this amazing show back and give it a great time slot. I guarantee people will love it as much as I do!

The Pretender, just to wrap up its unresolved storyline. Same goes for The Event, and Flash Forward. I want it in writing from all of the networks that they will not end a series with a continuing storyline without authorizing production of a wrap up episode tying up all the storylines. To leave mysteries unresolved is a cheat to those viewers who loyally watched these shows. It makes you not want to watch future shows that have continuing storylines because of this unresolved storyline issue from previous shows that were abruptly cancelled.

Well, being a rabid Browncoat, I'd like to see a new Firefly series, or more appropriately, a new series in the Firefly universe. Trying to resurrect the original show would be a mistake. How would anyone explain why these same nine people are still on this rickety ship ten years later? I feel confident that the creative team behind Firefly could create a new show that will be just as good, if not better, than the original.
Dallas, Pt 2: I have no intention of watching one single minute. For 20 years I have been perfectly content to believe JR was dead. I see no reason to resurrect him.
I watched Dallas last night. I though it was very good. Not in the least boring and Larry Hagman still has his acting chops. Watching him as J.R. Ewing again was great fun.
