Katy Perry's 'Part of Me' to show 'everything'Katy Perry says her upcoming autobiographical film will touch on her life, warts and all - including her breakup with ex-husband Russell Brand. The pop star told Ellen DeGeneres Tuesday that fans can expect to take a ride on her personal roller coaster, experiencing the highs and the lows when her 3-D concert flick, “Part of Me,” hits theaters this July. "I thought it was important for me to show everything in between," the 27-year-old singer said of her “bumpy” ride personally and professionally.
"Sometimes, people think that we're perfect, and we know we're not perfect at all," she continued. "I think it's important to start breaking down the idea that to achieve your dream, you have to always be perfect or flawless or live in a fantasy world. So that's why I decided to put everything into the film, in the most tasteful way." But don’t feel too bad for the Perry, who just reportedly split with her rumored boyfriend, Florence and the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd. Perry told DeGeneres that the good times have far outweighed the bad. "[T]he ride along the way, which can be bumpy ... mostly was extremely fun," she said. "Part of Me" will be in theaters July 5.
