  • As "controversial" as Howard Stern's new "America's Got Talent" job was supposed to be, he couldn't scare up ratings. Monday's premiere was actually 15 percent down over last year's debut. [NYDN]
  • We're betting Ellen DeGeneres is doing a little jig at the moment: The comedian/talk show host has been tapped to receive this year's Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. [WaPo]
  • Ellen DeGeneres also probably just made a ton of money, as it's been reported that Ryan Seacrest snagged her home for a mind-boggling $49 million. (As always kids, wield your grains of salt wisely.) [TMZ]
  • "Harold and Kumar" are slated to come to your TV in animated form during Comedy Central's Adult Swim. [Vulture]
  • What do Brad Pitt, Robert Pattinson, Shia LaBeouf, Jessica Chastain and Kristen Stewart all have in common? Their movies are on a Cannes Festival must-watch list. [MTV]

    Good evening all. So ryan seacrest is worth $125 million, & he earns $45 million a year. He could nearly pay for that house with a years salary. Say what you will about him, he's a really good businessman. Good for him!
