Nerd nuptials on 'The Big Bang Theory'Well, I certainly didn't expect that. For much of this season, I doubted that Howard and Bernadette would make it down the aisle. There just seemed to be so many red flags. Even Thursday night's season finale had the red flag of Howard continuing to call Bernadette "Ma," but stopping himself at the last minute.
But wouldn't you know it, despite Howard's rocket mission and a crowded day at the Justice of the Peace, all of their friends got together to become ordained ministers and marry them on top of Leonard, Sheldon and Penny's apartment building. The words spoken by each of their friends were touching, even if Raj was the only one whose speech wasn't the least bit self-serving. Amy's speech had to do with the bridesmaid dress (not to mention the return of that tiara) that she's been wanting to wear practically since Bernadette got engaged. Sheldon really didn't want to be there, and Leonard had to convince him that it might be fun, to which he replied, "That's what you said about the 'Green Lantern' movie. You were 114 minutes of wrong." Leonard and Penny were still at odds over his accidental marriage proposal in the last episode as well, bringing it up in their speeches. There was also an interesting moment during the ceremony where Howard's mother insisted on sitting very far away. Nice save there, otherwise we might have finally seen her. Not only did Howard go through with the wedding, he went through with the rocket mission too, despite fuel problems and an astronaut and cosmonaut taunting him in tight quarters. As the group watched, Raj held Bernadette's hand while the two said how much they would miss Howard. Then Penny and Leonard held hands. Then Amy and Sheldon held hands. Really! It's anyone's guess where next season will take us, but for now, Sheldon has said it all: "Boldly go, Howard Wolowitz." Did you enjoy the nerd wedding of the year? Why .. why?!?!? does this show have to come on at 7:00 Central. That's way too early for the adults who really appreciate the humor. BBT is one of the best shows on the air! Season after season, these guys make me laugh!
You did see Howard's mom. All you had to do was pause as they panned put at the end of of the show. There was a woman sitting in that chair.

The show is just about smart people getting along and growing (with the exception of Sheldon of course ). Howard's character is maturing ever so slightly in realizing he has to be faithful to the character of Bernadette. It IS a comedy and as such, characters are way "over the top" but the core friendships along with the scientific background may actually lead some members of the audience to seek smarter, scientific careers.

Raj and Bernadette have an affair while Howard is in space?
Hopefully not! Raj's character has been set up + disappointed a few times. Maybe the writers can actually find some gal for him.
I hope that Penny and Leornard stay togeter and I really like the BBT A LOT I watch it every night when it is on I think it is a a lot of laughs

Great ending lets start next season with howard stranded and go from there. Also, sheldon and amy get more invoved.
Recently been married. Had a good friend of mine do the marrying bit. Not corny, it keeps things more personal. Dont need some random person doing that.

I <3 #BBT! Great ep! ... my hopes for the next season? That Penny and Leonard don't split up – they are good for each other! Also, that Sheldon and Amy get more personal, but still maintain their unique charm. That Raj finally gets a girlfriend. And some hilarious situations with Howard and Bernadette's new family life – her dad is hilarious! Kudos, BBT!
I really enjoy the show and loved it when Howard gave her the star necklace. But i thought the part where they all got ordained, very corny and trite.

just when I thought BBT couldn't get any better, it did. I absolutely loved the season finale, and the whole season. This fall, I want to see a Best Comedy Emmy nomination, and best supporting actress for Mayim Bialik.
