The "New Girl" is going to Broadway with a huge endorsement from country legend Loretta Lynn.
As Zooey Deschanel, 32, revealed via Twitter Thursday night, "Loretta Lynn asked me to do 'coal miner's daughter' on broadway! I said YES!"
Lynn unveiled the plan to adapt her story for Broadway during a show at the Ryman Auditorium on Thursday.
After appearing in heavyweight movies like “Seven Pounds" and “For Colored Girls," Michael Ealy's been looking to lighten the mood.
The 38-year-old actor, who's also starred in acclaimed series like “Californication” and “The Good Wife,” is currently bringing laughs as part of the ensemble cast in the romantic comedy “Think Like a Man,” which grossed over $30 million in its opening weekend.
And in USA Network’s new series “Common Law,” which premieres Friday at 10 p.m. ET, Ealy's set to show even more of his comedic side.
Abed seemed to catch on that Dean Pelton's been replaced by an impostor on Thursday's "Community," but the fact caused him to behave even stranger than before.
For example, he's deathly afraid of Daylight Savings Time, he narrated Pierce's lunch hour and told Shirley she's a bad person for saying nice things about Brett Ratner.
Unfortunately, it seemed as though he was in dire need of therapy. Enter John Hodgman, whose brilliant turn as the therapist was a big highlight of this episode (of course, Britta likes to pretend she is his assistant, as she is a Psych major, something she tells all who will listen).
