Bobby Brown is finally ready to unveil his “Masterpiece.”
The New Edition singer has released a date for his latest project, according to Billboard, and it's slated to arrive on June 5.
It's the R&B artist’s first solo album in 14 years and, judging by the title, he's clearly proud of the work he put in.
Brown reminded the publication that he’s already given fans a taste of it, releasing the tracks "Damaged" and "Get Out The Way” last year.
"I simply wanted to create a body of work that will take listeners on a musical journey," he said in a statement about "Masterpiece." "The style of music that will allow people to get in touch with their highs and lows and their joys and pain of living through song."
At the same time, he went on, "I am hoping to bridge the gap between good old R&B and R&B of today."
Brown may also be ready to make his relationship to girlfriend Alicia Etheridge official. According to TMZ, the pair - who have been engaged for two years and had a son together in 2009 - will marry in Honolulu while Brown is there touring with his longtime bandmates.
