Don't cry for Jaleel White because he was eliminated last week on ABC’s "Dancing with the Stars."
Not only did he love the experience, as the actor told CNN in an interview taped prior to his dismissal, but “DWTS” whipped him into the best shape he's been in since college.
White also answered iReporters' questions during the interview, and the former child star reveals his inspiration for being on the dance show, whether he thinks his iconic "Family Matters" character Steve Urkel paved the way for other TV nerds, and what he's had the most fun doing since then.
In recent years, he made a guest appearance as a prisoner on an episode of the Fox medical drama "House," and showed off his singing chops on the USA network comedy series "Psych."
And he's also hosting a new game show for Syfy called "Total Blackout." As the show’s name implies, contestants find themselves in total darkness awaiting whatever challenges may be lurking.
From Urkel to "Total Blackout" to "DWTS," White's taking it all in stride - even when he gets one very strange request from a fan, as he recounts in the video above.
