Demi Lovato fans in Paraguay weren't going to stand for a stage being in between them and their favorite star.
As Celebuzz reports, the 19-year-old singer was in the country Thursday for a show, and was talking to the crowd when her fans anticipated that she was going to let some of the audience up on stage. But before she could clarify her instructions, one fan hopped on stage and rushed over to Lovato, throwing her arms around her in a hug.
As security tried to remove that fan, others began to pour onto the stage as Lovato swiftly removed herself from the disruption.
The singer/actress didn't appear to be shaken, as she promptly came back out and requested that the audience "chill out." Thankfully, another song seemed to defuse the situation, and Lovato kept the night moving right along.
The former Disney star has also lined up a series of dates in the U.S. this summer, starting in Del Mar, California on June 12.
@player87. Bieber? ya gotta be kiddin. not into any of the simple-minded top40 cr@p. if that's your thing, u are definitely one of the sheep.
@Dff- the fact that DL has "effin die-hard fans" proves 2 things:
1) there are lots of sheep that follow whatever the Disney Machine tells them is good,
2) you are one of the sheep.
when you get past 14, maybe you will develop more taste in music.
Wierd Al Yankovich performed at Del Mar fair last summer..I guess it gets worse.Well at least you can still get deep fried Kool-Aid from Chicken Charlies.
Demi, I feel your pain. Used to happen to me all the time: People can't understand you're not Jesus or anything special. Sad, really, they lead such plain, boring lives. being near a celebrity is what they live for.
