Ten years ago on April 25, the life of TLC group member Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes was tragically cut short at the age of 30 after she was killed in a car crash in Honduras.
And while this date is referred to as the 10-year "anniversary" of Lopes' death, the two surviving members of the seminal hip-hop/R&B group, Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, say "anniversary" isn't quite the right word.
In a statement tweeted by Chilli, T-Boz says that "the word anniversary means a celebration. For us her death will never be a celebration, it's still something that hurts."
I've got to hand it to Adam Levine: The man is a mad genius.
Adam encouraged Tony Lucca - two weeks after he was harshly criticized by former "Mickey Mouse Club" member Christina Aguilera - to sing a song from another fellow Mouseketeer this week: Britney Spears' "(Baby) One More Time."
Tony got a huge reaction from the crowd when he performed it on Monday's show, and it was no surprise when he was saved by Adam that night, and again by America's vote on Tuesday night.
After Rosie O'Donnell remarked that Lindsay Lohan is neither right nor ready to play a young Liz Taylor in a Lifetime film, Lohan herself is questioning where O'Donnell's getting her info from.
"It's funny that someone you don't know at all can say something so intrusive and so knowing," the 25-year-old actress told "Access Hollywood" Tuesday evening.
O'Donnell told Matt Lauer on the "Today" show earlier that day that she feels "sorry" for Lohan, who's been cast as the late legend in Lifetime's "Liz & Dick."
On the heels of his latest album release, former White Stripes frontman Jack White is picking up some movie business.
According to E!, the musician is set to write, produce and perform the score for Disney's "The Lone Ranger." Producer Jerry Bruckheimer told the audience at CinemaCon Tuesday that having White on board means we can expect "to have a little rock 'n' roll score."
Personally, Bruckheimer can't wait to hear White's version of the "William Tell Overture."
Although this is the first feature film he's scored, White's no stranger to the soundtrack, as he's contributed music to movies like "Cold Mountain" and the Bond film "Quantum of Solace."
Starring Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as the titular Western hero, "The Lone Ranger" is scheduled to be released on May 31, 2013.
There were a few relationship changes in Tuesday's "New Girl."
As Nick put it, Schmidt and CeCe almost made a baby together, while Jess is dating the man he can see himself growing old with.
After acknowledging the fact that he’s had a tough year, Nick concluded that the logical thing to do was to plant tomatoes. Because, obviously. But since this is Nick, he of course became obsessive and weird with it.
Last night's "Dance Duel" on "Dancing with the Stars" proved to be difficult for the judges, as both Roshon Fegan and Gladys Knight performed strong jives that delighted the crowd.
But it was Knight who was given the heave-ho at the end of the ABC competition series, with judges Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli voting to keep Fegan. Carrie Ann Inaba was the dissenting judge, opting to save Knight.
Despite the defeat, the music legend enjoyed her time on the dance floor.
