Jon Voight: No updates on Jolie-Pitt wedding plans

If you’re waiting for Jon Voight to give fans the 4-1-1 on Angelina Jolie’s upcoming wedding to Brad Pitt, don’t hold your breath.

The actor told Us Weekly that his once-estranged daughter has not shared any of the details of her pending wedding with him - in fact, she didn’t even tell him she was getting hitched.

"It was very nice I thought,” Voight said of hearing about the couple’s happy news in the press. “If they are happy - if they're going to have a wedding - it's wonderful."

But of course, the 73-year-old Oscar winner added, Jolie and Pitt are "the parents of six kids. They've been that way for a while."

What will happen next though, he said, is anyone’s guess.

"They haven't given me any insight into that,” he said of Jolie’s big day. “I can't really trust what people say. The newspapers and magazines seem to go their own way, and so I have to get it from Angie."

At least the two are still talking: dad and daughter were estranged for years before publicly reconciling in 2007 following the death of Jolie’s mom.

"I've seen her recently and we've had a great time,” Voight confirmed, “but we haven't talked about that."
