'Real Housewives: NYC' adds three, Lisa Vanderpump gets showWhen "The Real Housewives of New York City" returns in June, there'll be three new faces to replace the loss of Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Alex McCord and Cindy Barshop. Joining returning cast members LuAnn deLesseps, Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer are NYC socialite Aviva Drescher, entrepreneur Heather Thomson and best-selling author/journalist Carole Radziwill. According to Drescher's bio, she's a lawyer but doesn't practice, instead devoting "her time to her investment banker husband, Reid, and raising and educating their family of four children on the Upper East Side."
Drescher, who's described as a full-time mother and a part-time socialite, is also the national spokesperson for an organization for amputees, as she had to have her left leg amputated at the age of six following a "tragic farm accident." Newbie Radziwill worked with ABC News before leaving to write her first book, a memoir that focused on her life, her marriage to another ABC News name, Anthony Radziwill, as well as their struggle with cancer. According to her Bravo bio, she's currently a "contributor to Glamour magazine and is finishing her first novel, a fictionalized sequel to her memoir, titled 'Widow's Guide to Sex and Dating.'" And then there's "married mom of two" Heather Thomson, who also describes herself as a stylist, designer and the creator of the Yummie line of shapewear. Apparently, none of these new ladies gets along with O.G. NYC "Housewife" Ramona Singer, People magazine reports, and if the season 5 sneak peek is any indication, this new trio can bring the wine-soaked drama with the best of them. Meanwhile, Beverly Hills "Housewife" Lisa Vanderpump has landed her own show with Bravo, tentatively titled "SUR." The series will focus on what goes on behind the "salacious kitchen doors" of her Hollywood restaurant and lounge of the same name. According to Vanderpump, it's the "sexiest establishment" she's ever owned, and is the kind of place "you take your mistress." Er, OK then - guess we should expect to see some philandering patrons. In the meantime, the fifth season of "The Real Housewives of New York City" premieres June 4 at 9 p.m. on Bravo. |

***Sigh****Does anyone even care abut the mindless shows???
Why isn't Jill returning? I liked her... I'm glad Alex isn't returning.
Although she's nuts, I think Ramona is hot.
Why is the fake countess, LouAnn, still on this show. She's a horrible person and think she knows it all. Has no talent and is still there. WOW!!!
I just don't think it will be the same without Jill Zarin. Giving Alex and Kelli the boot...not a problem, but with Jill gone, I don't think I will be tuning in.
All the more reason to watch, Jill is gone! Poof! Such an evil and ugly person.
A show to watch – just to learn how NOT to be!!
wao that will be great!
Lol is a dirty stinking dog w ticks
I like opening my legs wide and have mr ed eat me out
