Stanley Tucci lining up post-'Games' role?A “Hunger Games” star may soon hear strange voices. Stanley Tucci, who plays Caesar Flickerman in this month's blockbuster adaptation, is said to be in negotiations to co-star in the pending film “Your Voice in My Head” opposite actress Emma Watson. According to Variety, Tucci was approached to play the terminally ill psychiatrist of a young woman who attempts suicide after a terrible break-up with a prominent journalist.
The story is actually based on the real-life memoirs of a screenwriter named Emma Forrest. The film is being helmed by “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” director David Yates. Sources tell Variety that before Yates approached Tucci for the role it got bites from several other prominent actors - including George Clooney. They also say Warner Bros. - the company that would produce the film - already considers Tucci's would-be role a serious contender for "best actor" in the Oscars race in 2013. Shooting is expected to start this summer, after "Voice" is officially green-lit.
