New mom Hilary Duff adjusts to parenthoodActress Hilary Duff has received the harsh wake-up call of being a new parent: it’s a tough business, and there’s not a lot of sleep involved. The brand new mom and former Disney star tweeted about her bleary-eyed experience with parenting earlier this week, posting Tuesday morning, "4am...Sleepy eyed. Feeding baby..whew this job is no joke!" Baby Luca Cruz was born on March 20 at 7 pounds, 6 ounces, and is the first child for the actress/singer and her hockey player hubby Mike Comrie.

Christie Brinkley, Peter Cook battle it out on 'Today'The battle of the exes continued Wednesday as Christie Brinkley’s ex-husband Peter Cook fired back at her on the "Today" show. Yesterday the Broadway actress – who’s gearing up for a return to “Chicago” - went on "Today" and accused Cook of harassment and of continually plotting to “destroy [her] joy" four years after their split. Brinkley, who has two teenage kids with her fourth husband, cried as she said she “just wants peace for my family.”

'Modern Family' stars seeking higher pay?A report suggests that the cast of “Modern Family” wants a raise - a gigantic one. And, the actors may be in a very good position to get paid: it’s contract renegotiation time, and the Emmy Award-winning sitcom is one of the highest-watched series on TV. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the six adult cast members (minus Ed O’Neill, who reportedly earns more) currently make around $65,000 per episode.

'New Girl': Dating the FancymanWhen “the smartest guy” Nick knows, Dirk, arrived as a house guest on Tuesday's "New Girl," the roommates weren't the only ones who benefited from Dirk's "wisdom." For example, when Dirk hit on CeCe, she admitted that she’s seeing someone - and that she’s the boss. Dirk then called the guy she’s dating her “sex-cretary." New vocab for us! Except Schmidt didn’t like that nickname very much, and then didn't want to have sex with CeCe. He even told her boobs, “Harold and Kumar," that he’s sorry because they’re not going to White Castle. CeCe was up to do anything, anywhere to seduce him, and they wound up in Schmidt’s “fantasy location No. 3.”

Happy 26th birthday, Lady GagaHopefully Lady Gaga knows how to have her cake and eat it too. The superstar, who turns 26 today, tweeted a photo last night of what appears to be a bit of a pre-party, thanks to the lone candle standing in the center of a cake slice that's seen better days. "This is how it feels turning 26 in three and a half hours," she wrote. "Ha!" The singer has hinted that she's going to have an elaborate celebration, as she told her Twitter followers - or Little Monsters, if you will - that she was planning to have a "quinceañera," an event traditionally held by Latin families for a daughter's 15th birthday, to honor her transition into womanhood. However the Mother Monster decides to fete another year older, she certainly has plenty to celebrate: At 26, Gaga's racked up five Grammys, nine songs in the top 10 of Billboard's Hot 100, and has sold more than 23 million albums, reports E!. Now that's something to sing about.

'Dancing' says goodbye to its first starProfessional athletes tend to do quite well on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," but tennis stars appear to be the exception to the rule. Monica Seles finished 11th out of 12 competitors on the sixth season of the popular series in 2008. Now, Martina Navratilova is the first to go this season. The 55-year-old tennis legend learned her fate last night, one day after she struggled with a difficult jive. Despite the early elimination, Navratilova told CNN she enjoyed the experience. |
