Lindsay Lohan to appear on 'Glee'On the heels of Lindsay Lohan's "Saturday Night Live" hosting gig and new role as Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime movie, the actress has also lined up a guest spot on "Glee." Her rep didn't provide more details other than to confirm that she'll appear in an upcoming episode. According to TVLine, the 25-year-old actress, who has been making efforts to rebound from her long history of legal woes, has been in final talks to appear in one of the final episodes as herself, portraying a celebrity judge at Nationals.
We can only imagine the potential payback she could dish out for the "Glee" kids on the show, as they once learned to inquire the number of times Lohan's been in rehab thanks to substitute Spanish teacher Holly Holiday. Portrayed by Gwyneth Paltrow in a 2010 episode, Holiday attempted to teach phrases such as "Lindsay Lohan's totally crazy, right?" and, "How many times has Lindsay been in rehab?" At the time, Lohan's mom Dina said the Lohan family was hurt by "the writers’ choice to have such a huge talent like Gwyneth Paltrow relay such hurtful words against a contemporary."

She's the perfect icon to represent what the show has become. I say it's appropriate casting. When you look at what GLEE was that made it popular, and what it has since evolved into, LiLo is the perfect representation for it's current state of being. GLEE has had its positive contributions to social dialog, but it has simply run its course and is obviously throwing in the towel. At least a few of the cast with true talents have projects already in the works for the coming years. The mediocre ones will continue their bit parts flying by on the seat of the GLEE glory days, and Ryan Murphy will go on to produce some other major hit, cash in, and move on to the next thing.
I completely agree that GLEE has entered its 14 minute mark in its long-winded 15 minutes of fame. Here's to its peaceful farewell!

Let's get something straight. Paltrow has never had a known drug or alcohol addiction, has an academy award and looks years younger than Lohan despite being about12 years older. Sorry Lohans, but Lindsey has never and never will be one of Paltrow's "contemporaries."
I'll be running to watch that episode and then the next morning you'll hear its was the highest rated episode in history–yea right.
Well, I was a Glee fan and watch it occasionally. Not anymore! I will not ever watch again if that ho bag is on there. And, there is nothing pretty about her. She always looks like she needs a bath. Why is her mother trying to discredit anyone who says anything – meal ticket.
To the producers of Glee: thanks for helping me decide to stop watching the show. As to Lindsay as Liz Taylor: she must be cast as Liz in her later years. To Lindsay's agent: Please start using your amazing super powers for good, not evil.

Have been a Gleek since first episode but I swear I will NEVER watch the show again if they put this drug addict nutcase criminal on the show. (you hear us Ryan Murphy??) What are they thinking? Hopefully she'll be back in rehab or prison before it gets filmed. Who's next??? One or all of the KarTRASHians??

Im not much of a star struck – type of person- frankly I couldn't care less about the high society types- HOWEVER I have a soft spot in my heart for Lindsey Lohan- I can't understand the hatred and hysteria about her- what did she do so bad ? stole a necklace- posed in playboy – who cares?. Something about her seems so pure and so sincere, im not sure what it is- but i can't help to feel drawn to her- because of all the uncalled for abuse she receives. Ignore everyone Lindsey, Jesus love you.

I like Lindsay Lohan. I'm excited to see her career start to pick-up again. I don't understand why so many people are so angry she keeps getting more chances to turn her life and career around. You really want to see people just waste away and OD by 30? She didn't kill anybody, she just has a drug problem. The people who'd rather see her never get better because she's made some mistakes are way worse people then she is.
I don't necessarily like her or care about her acting, but I agree with being confused about all the hatred towards her.
That's a very narrow way to look at it... she's in a position of influence, she shat all over that responsibility in the public eye NUMEROUS times, and her means of picking up the pieces are booking a few jobs? C'mon, she should be shoveling out stew at the local soup kitchen every sunday for the next 5 years, and taping a paper bag over her head in public. Kids see this, they see how screwed up she is and yet she's still making the news, she's still making tons of money, and kids think that's the way to get it. Pull your head out...
I don't think angry is quite the feeling about LL. Maybe pity, or shock, perhaps even disbelief. But not angry. This girl had the world by the tail and due to lack of guidance and parents who were/are self absorbed, this girl eventually ended up on the receiving end of all her bad choices. Clearly she has people still around her who see her as a potential cash cow, given they are going to lengths to get her face time on TV. I mean really, starring on the big screen in all her blockbusters, to a made for TV-Lifetime movie? She should be thanking her lucky stars she was cast as Elizabeth Taylor. She might actually do a decent job at it considering it won't be live TV like SNL was. I must say as a HUGE fan of SNL, I was quite disappointed that Lorne Michaels let her host given she has done NOTHING for so long. But she asked him for that favor and he granted. I think she looked nearly unrecognizable on SNL. Lay off the botox Lindz..... just saying.

This is news? Sadly, I am not surprised that CNN would carry this as a headline. Which is why I rarely check this site for latest headlines. There are many more newsworthy stories which affect millions of Americans, rather than this garbage. Come on guys, your better than this.
