Christie Brinkley, Peter Cook battle it out on 'Today'The battle of the exes continued Wednesday as Christie Brinkley’s ex-husband Peter Cook fired back at her on the "Today" show. Yesterday the Broadway actress – who’s gearing up for a return to “Chicago” - went on "Today" and accused Cook of harassment and of continually plotting to “destroy [her] joy" four years after their split. Brinkley, who has two teenage kids with her fourth husband, cried as she said she “just wants peace for my family.”
“Ever since the separation she’s been on a campaign to try and smear me,” Cook told "Today" about Brinkley’s Tuesday interview with the morning show, which she said was her first TV interview about their split. “There is no Peter Cook press machine - I have no interest in the press. I am not a celebrity. You don’t hear about Peter Cook until Christie Brinkley dredges something up from the past,” he said. The 58-year-old actress alleged yesterday that Cook inflates how much he’s actually paying in child support each month - a matter the couple is now hashing out in court. For his part, Cook said, “I thought that it was horrible that she could sit there and shamelessly lie to our children again on national TV about the events surrounding this current motion...The entire content of her interview was a lie, where she claims I am harassing and bullying her on a daily basis." Brinkley will reprise her role as Roxie in "Chicago" next month.

I really do not understand why their relationship is making the news. It is too personal and should be kept private. Now they have invited everyone into their business and everyone wants to voice their opinion. Well, here is mines... They are both wrong for entertaining us with their problems. I cannot imagine the impact all this will have on their children. They both will regret it in the long run.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that she went on the Today show to publicly bash her ex.

Insanity aside, there are a lot of 30-year-olds that would love to look so good. She's been gorgeous all her life and seems to be still going strong at – I can't believe it – 58 years of age. Maybe not on film with close-ups, but certainly on stage she can easily get away with playing Roxie Hart.
She's been married 4 times! Dear God, doesn't that flag her as a tad underwhelming in the relationship department?
And guys.....58 year old women do not look like that. However, 58 year old women, with a bank load of cash and a good plastic surgeon can look like anything they want to. Next time you feel like praising a fake like Christina Brinkley, put your money where your mouth is and offer to pay for some surgery for your nearest and dearest! Can't say I agree. Surgery can only do so much, and too many surgeries result in Joan Rivers with the fish mouth and eyebrows up to her hairline, or even more freakish, Michael Jackson. Not saying Brinkley hasn't had surgery as she almost certainly has, but she does indeed have great genes as well as a great surgeon to look so natural. Apparently, great judgment too in regard to how much is too much and knowing when to stop. Now if only she would extend that great judgment to her personal life!

The funniest pat of this was earlier in the week when she was on the Today show with Matt Lauer. They introduced her, then ran a pre-recorded piece on the divorce. The last line in the piece was "Brinkley's lawyer says that Brinkley simply wants the public to respect her family's privacy at this time".
Then she starts complaining to Lauer about her ex!!! And the crocodile tears. Horrible actress.

This ex slime of a husband is jealous of her achievements and you can see the excitement in his eyes every time he speaks something negative about her. He has been on a campaign to degrade her in public for years.
