Khloe K. parts ways with PETA over flour bombGuess we shouldn't expect any more naked PETA ads from Khloe Kardashian. The reality star's love affair with the organization has soured now that it has offered its support to the woman who flour-bombed big sister Kim on the red carpet of her L.A. fragrance launch/Dress for Success event last Thursday. TMZ reports that the woman is a longtime member of PETA who once was given an award by the group - although the organization has said it could not verify the woman’s identity. It has also denied any responsibility for the attack.
On Monday, the younger Kardashian blogged about her decision to distance herself from the animal rights group. "I just received word that the woman responsible has very close ties to PETA, despite PETA publicly stating otherwise," she wrote. "Not only has PETA lied to the public, but they have proved that they support this kind of behavior." "I’ve been a vocal supporter of PETA for a long time but I have also been very vocal about anti-bullying, so this was a huge disappointment for me,” she added. “As you all know, I don’t condone violence and bullying and what happened last Thursday was just that." Kim has not announced plans to press criminal charges against her attacker, but she's hinted that could come down the line. For its part, PETA's taking the loss of their Kardashian support in stride. "We appreciate that Khloe will remain on the animals' side by not wearing fur—that's what counts," the organization said to CNN in a statement. "If one of our volunteers is responsible, it doesn't alter the fact that no animal deserves to be electrocuted, shot, or poisoned for a bit of fur clothing. Khloe is just defending her sister, and we know she has a good heart, so we wish her well. We just wish she also had more influence on her sister."

PETA has had a history of biting the hand that feeds it. PETA's primary concern it perpetuating PETA. They do very little for animals, and a whole lot for themselves. Ask one of these bozos the last time them even saw an animal shelter, let alone sent money to it. Most of the supports are limosuine liberals who drive their BMW's and Lexus's to a rally or protest, jump back in it when its done and head home to their shack in the 'burbs feeling all kinds of good about the hour they just spent protecting animal rights. If you want to help, go spend 8 hours washing dishes at a soup kitchen.

Most people would have gone crazy not knowing what the substance might be. She simply smiled.
