PETA willing to support Kim K. 'flour bomber'

If Kim Kardashian ever brings charges against the woman who flour-bombed her at an L.A. event last week, it seems PETA is planning to side with the powder perpetrator.

The woman, who ambushed Kardashian on the red carpet of her fragrance launch this past Thursday, reportedly called her a “fur hag” before dousing her with what was said to be cooking flour.

PETA has denied any involvement with the incident, but a rep for the organization told CNN in a statement that they could back the woman if she desired their aid.

"We don't believe Kim would be so shortsighted as to go after this woman, but if she does, we'll definitely look at how to maximize exposure to the cruel fur industry, and that could mean defending the activist if she wishes," PETA said.

At first, Kardashian said she had no plans to press charges against the alleged activist - but perhaps she's since changed her mind.

On Friday, the 31-year-old told E! News, "I said earlier, no, I wasn't [going to file a complaint]. I am just going to think about it, because I don't want someone to think they can really get away with that. So we are going to handle that."

I spent time yesterday to read the Public Protector's rrpeot, and to say the least it is damning. The Minister is proven to be a liar on more than one occasion. The difference between something like this being rrpeoted in the media and a Public Protector's rrpeot, is that a rrpeot is not official or formal notification of a transgression to the President, but a rrpeot of a Public Protector is official and therefore the President is duty-bound to act.(It is important that we are fair, and hope Prof that you also highlight Afriforum's decision to rrpeot a middle management official Tshwane to the Human Rights Commission, the official utilised his work email to send his ANC branch correspondence. But if I recall Helen Zille has been using her Premier email and even letterhead to send press statements of the DA). It seems that the leader of the DA is not able to distinguish between party and State.)It is also apparent that maybe the government does not even need this Minister, since he has been on sick leave for so long, and not a single municipality has even crumbled. Making it even easier for the Minister to act.

REALLY? THIS is what we all have to be concerned about? Seems like every time a Kardashian farts, it makes the news. How ridiculous! Next time, don't throw the flour LOOSELY at her, chuck the wholeCLOSED bag at one time. Maybe it will knock some sense into her.

Now why doesn't Zuma make the hugely competent and morally beyond reproach Y Carriem the minister after all he did a sterling job killing the Scorpions and is clearly a loyal and obedient cadre despite his honesty.

Everyone forgets about Skeet. They are killed ever day for sport. No one eats them or even cares about the family they leave behind. They are just left in the sun to rot. Please lets put an end to this now.

Oh please. Back in the day this was called a "prank". Now it's a criminal incident drummed up by whiny cele-BRAT-ies. Even sillier, her sister calls it "bullying and harassment". Grow a sense of humor. If you can't laugh at yourself, others surely will.

Give her 72 days and she will change her mind. She is so worried about what other folks think. She should just get over her self. There are more important things going on in life. Like bringing our troops home ! So happy I am not having to shee her or her sisters in every magazine I pick up ! Good for PETA !

No-one has the right to do that to anyone, if it was you – how would you feel? Doesn't matter celebrity or not, there's a place and time and the right way to do things, this is not one of them. If you want to be heard this is not the way.

Kim's statement is extremely incoherent. She should take some college classes, and learn to communicate better; especially by deleting the word "like" from her vocabulary.

Thank you for the spelling, Debbie. It will be a peaceful & respectful protest, handing out flyers and educating people that the animals used by the fur trade are oftentimes skinned alive to maintain certain criteria, they are electrocuted anally, and that a celebrity who loves her pets, can make a huge difference by publicly renouncing fur for vanity. People are oftentimes ignorant, but once they know, that Kim knows all that, but does it anyway for just the money, the people of Calabasas will not buy what she endorses, incl the perfume she was plugging. The suffering has to be given a voice. Please lets each do our part. Kim can too

@Heidi: FYI- to make sure you get to the right town, it's spelled "Calabasas". By protesting at their store, you and your well-meaning (?) group will accomplish one thing: you will be giving them the publicity and attention they crave. Just as a drug addict craves and needs drugs, your group will become their drug dealer. It's obvious that publicity and attention are Kim's drugs of choice.

Do they actually even make any sales there? The only reason the place hasn't gone under is because they have plenty of money to throw at it to keep it going. I agree with Debbie- you're just giving them more exposure. FREE exposure at that, so in reality you're just fueling the fire and keeping them relevant, which in turn will promote their fur-wearing tendencies even more. Good work!

Right you are. And there are companies out there who test on animals and so we boycott their cosmetics without researching who else they own - Unilever for example tests on animals yet is behind a lot of FOOD products as well; I always check now. Before I buy a new product I research them and who owns them or who is planning on buying them. Unilever bought or is buying Alberto Culver, who owns Tresemme for example.

Its about the torturous way the fur industry breeds and kills the animals so they get the fur as intact as possible. Some are skinned alive and some are electrocuted anally. Can you imagine doing that to a fox or a pig or a cow. Kim knows how the animals she wore were skinned alive & having pets she got sick to her stomach. Then she got paid HUGE to wear them & promote the fashion industry & thats where she can make a big difference. The skin them alive for the fashion furs to retain the bloodflow for ...

PETA what the hay?! What does anything about throwing flour on Kim K having anything to do with PETA? Because she mentioned she was a fur hag when she threw it. Well, she is a fur hag amonst other things. Come on...I heard this was a total publicity stunt put on by Kim K. to draw attention for people to feel sorry for her. The "marriage" she broke up lasting 90 days or so also a publicity stunt. Ignore this woman..she has no talent and trying to keep her not so reality show going.

I'm not a Supporter of PETA's radical ways. I am, however a supporter of the Humane treatment of animals. it's not about using pigskin or leather, etc. It is the way the animal is treated...quality of life. In order to use mink, ermine, rabbit for fur coats and the like, the animals do not live a quality life while waiting to become someone's clothing. They are then killed in a torturous fashion...they suffer greatly. Example: most animal rights supporters are not at all against using cosmetics, just those tested on animals because it is torturous. Animals feel pain, have varying levels of intelligence, and feel a variety of emotions. If you are a reasonable and fair individual, the Humane Society of the U.S website will give you excellent insight into the fur trade.

I think KK is just as much of a dumb armenian sk ank as the next guy, but this PETA nonsense is too much. If you don't want to wear fur, don't. But seriously, are you animal freaks all pis sed at the NFL for using pigskin? Do you refuse to ride in cars with leather seats? You eat plants, are you concerned that you are hurting plants?
