Watch: 'Prometheus,' 'Lincoln,' 'Snow White and the Huntsman' trailersFans frolicked to this past weekend's Wondercon (sort of a little sister to San Diego Comic-Con), which had moved for the first time to Anaheim, California. And along with the proximity to Hollywood, came more stars. Aside from panels for movies like "The Amazing Spider-Man," "Resident Evil: Retribution" and even "21 Jump Street" (which was already in theaters), new trailers arrived for two hotly anticipated summer movies. We still know next-to-nothing about Ridley Scott's science fiction epic, "Prometheus," and the new trailer filled in a little more backstory about the movie, written by "Lost" co-creator Damon Lindelof.
It concerns a group of space-traveling archaeologists who encounter – surprise! – aliens. (The movie was originally developed as a prequel to Scott's "Alien.") We'll finally learn just what "Prometheus" is all about when it hits theaters on June 8. For a change of pace, there was also the second trailer for "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter," revealed at a panel introduced by Tim Burton on video. Or rather, Burton in the form of "a mummified rubber figure shut up in a hospital room with stripper-esque nurses and a Russian Orthodox priest/doctor," according to GiantFreakinRobot.com. Unlike "Prometheus," the movie's title is quite self-explanatory, but in this trailer we learn that Honest Abe came upon his vampire hunting ways well before he ever took the oath of office. One can only guess how audiences will respond to this historical fiction horror film when it hits theaters on June 22. Update 5:30 p.m.: We can't forget about Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart's "Snow White and the Huntsman," now can we? Also starring Chris Hemsworth, the trailer shows Theron at her evil best and Stewart slipping into an English accent. "Snow White and the Huntsman" will open June 1.

John 1:3 All things were made tohgurh Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The depth of the agonia is in this that so full of life He emptied himself. To pour out this magnitude so completely is agonia- Not giving up only what we can pour out but the fullness of the power behind all creation. (Phil 2:5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.) The life I believe Merton is saying resides in us because of Christ within. Not sure Merton would go so far as to say without him we are merely dead men walking. I think Merton nails it pretty well. I think it is amazing that creation survived the cross to be around for the ressurection. Perhaps that too is grace. Phl 2:9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, Phl 2:10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, Phl 2:11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Prometheus-yes, SW&Huntsman-yes. Abe? Warner Brothers doesn't want me to see it so I won't.
Prometheus...maybe
Abe–definitely
Snow–no way
I was hoping for a trailer for Spielberg's upcoming Lincoln bioflick when I read this headline. Instead, I get a glimpse at another moronic vampire film out of crappy Hollywood. Ugh...
Lincoln Vampire Hunter vs Twilight Triangle directed by Michael Bay would be the best. Half the planet will be destroyed. Bella might even show a hint of emotion when half the planet blows up. Maybe. lol
"Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter"????????? Seriously?
Ok, now flip it and see how irrational/ultra-nationalistic/just plain stupid it sounds: "Mao Zedong: Alien Hunter" – We would laugh our collective rears off.
I'm all for patriotism, but this is like patriotism on LSD.
That's what's good about it.
I'm too excited for Prometheus! We're finally seeing what a "Space Jockey" is. As much much as I'd like to have seen more Xenos, I think this is a great move. After all, seeing another iteration of what we've previously seen isn't really entertaining.
Lily Collins who plays Show White in Mirror Mirror, and Kristen Stewart should have traded rolls... I would've like to see Stewart in a comedy for once instead of these serious roles.. she's so blah and emotionless...sticking her with Julia Roberts might have done her some good to loosen up and let the personality come out.
snow white and prometheus look real good. i really love it that Ridley Scott is fixing his legacy from those that ruined it before him
WHO CARES AND SHE HAS THAT SILLY STARE IN EVERY SINGLE BODY OF WORK SHE DOES EVEN IN THE DIOR COMMERICALS–OI VEY!
It's the botox mask that all Hollywood thinks we want to see. Yuk. Maybe they can find a stand-in to move their eyebrows and squint. Or photoshop expressions on their wooden faces.
Lincoln. Freed the slaves and cemented his place in history as the very FIRST bleeding-heart LIBERAL!
And he was a Republican. Go figure that one out.
Is Prometheus really an prequel to Aliens or not ? I keep hearing different opinions plus also how it's connected to Blade Runner which is an completely different film than Aliens. Snow White seems ok but Abe Lincoln, Vampire hunter sounds like a hoot to see even thou I'm completely tired of the vampire thing.
How about you all out there, enough of vampires or what ?
Based on the images shown in this trailer it is most definitely a prequel to the Alien movies. In the first Alien movie they think it's a distress signal they are going after. Here they think it's an "invitation." It even shows the "pilot" of the alien ship from the first 2 movies...
And yea... Vampire movies have been played out for a while, but this is a fresh take on them... I recommend reading the book. It's very good and takes historical facts and bends them just slightly to incorporate the vampire universe.
who cares.
Prometheus is not a sequel to the Alien films. It cover the Space Jockey, who was a mysterious, unused, placeholder in the first Alien film.
SW has an amazing transformation. The director successfully navigated it from a boring classic to a pulsating action thriller! Kristen Stewart really brought the badass in this film!
Did she have that dumb stare through the whole movie? The one with her mouth hanging part way open like she is trying to catch flys ?
Plus Abraham Lincoln, the father of our country and inventor of the children's toy Lincoln Logs, hunting space aliens ! TOO COOL ! Those aliens won't stand a chance ! Go get em honest Abe !
Inventor of "Lincoln Logs." You really are into alternative history, aren't you, Teddy?
Abe Lincoln is 'the father of our country'?
Are you really that stupid? Or do you take special classes to be that way?
Seals the deal – It's a prequel to Alien. Going to be awesome.
