Fifth 'American Pie'? Could happen, says Jason Biggs

We haven't even seen "American Reunion" yet - its not due in theaters until April 6 - but the franchise's star Jason Biggs says there's already a title in mind should a fifth "American Pie" movie ever happen.

"'American Pive,'" Biggs tells CNN, adding that it should happen "just for the title alone! Kinda catchy, right?"

Biggs explains that writer/director Jon Hurwitz came up with it, and adds that a fifth film could be considered if the fourth, "American Reunion," performs well.

"American Reunion," as its title suggests, reunites the "American Pie" cast more than a decade after 1999's initial "American Pie" for a high school reunion.

The concept "is such a brilliant idea," Biggs says. "Enough time [has] passed, [and it's] a great idea to get the whole cast back and a great backdrop for a story to tell."

That being said, pulling off "American Pive" would take some creativity.

"I don't know where you'd go from here. It would be quite a challenge," Biggs acknowledges. "[But] if all the right ingredients are there - let's do it!"

And it's not like the 33-year-old actor isn't still known as the "Pie" guy when he's spotted by fans, thanks to that infamous scene in which Biggs' character is caught having a special moment with the dessert.

"It's all pie, all the time. I get 'Pie Guy' a lot. There's a lot of pie references, as you can imagine," he admits, joking, "I tend to live in a cave now after years and years of having to deal with being the 'Pie Guy.'...I'm hopped up on meds right now and my therapist is in the other room."

Interestingly enough, when he's not being recognized as the "Pie Guy," "I get Adam Sandler a lot as well," Biggs says. "Which I think is funny and flattering."
