James Van Der Beek, wife welcome sonBreak out the cigars - or your celebratory method of choice - because James Van Der Beek and his wife Kimberly have just welcomed a baby boy. The “Dawson’s Creek” star announced the birth of the couple's second child via Twitter on Tuesday. “Had my first son this morning … well, actually, my wife had him. I just caught him. Wow. Heart expanding way faster than my brain," he wrote. "If you could bottle up and distribute this feeling, I swear there'd be no more war."
The couple, who wed in 2010, also have a daughter, 17-month-old Olivia. Kimberly was so excited about the new arrival that she tweeted as well: “Had such a blessed and miraculous birth experience. Cannot wait to share it with all of you! Thank you for all the love and good wishes. I can feel it all. xo” The pair broke the news about their then-pending bundle of joy back in the fall. “Just when we thought we couldn’t feel any more blessed, it seems the universe has plans to give our daughter a sibling,” the Beek from the "Creek" announced in October. The 35-year-old actor stars in the upcoming ABC show “Don’t Trust the B-- in Apt. 23," which debuts on April 11. |

With the surname of Van Der Beek what were you all expecting?
I don't appreciate these comments on people with "special" heads. They do say we are the more intelligent breed. Don't make me get my Sesame Street posse on your backs.
He could play Frankenstein and all he would need is make-up!
Man, that guy has a big head. They could use it as a balloon in the Macy's Day Parade! Sure hope the baby looks like the momma!
His momma had a difficult delivery with that one!
lmfao!
I hope it is just a really bad photo and his head is not that elongated. LOL!
It's that elongated.
You wanna say that to my face? How dare you insult me! I'm going to get my partner... er... I mean friend Ernie on you!
LOL! You and your buddy Ernie need to tie the knot and just get it over with already.
