Orlando Bloom talks 'rakish' 'Musketeers' roleOrlando Bloom is known for his more heroic roles in franchises like "The Lord of the Rings" and "Pirates of the Caribbean," but the 35-year-old actor got in touch with his bad side for "The Three Musketeers." In the movie, Bloom portrays the Duke of Buckingham, whom the actor describes as a "caddish, rakish rogue" in a bonus clip on the movie's Blu-ray edition, which is now available along with the DVD. Director Paul W.S. Anderson adds that he knew Bloom would be perfect for the film, and the actor loved the idea of stepping into the Duke of Buckingham's shoes. "I get to be a baddie without being the obvious out-and-out baddie, the arch-enemy," Bloom says. "I just knew that it was going to be a lot of fun." |
