Jennifer Westfeldt on being the 'Friend' without kidsJennifer Westfeldt's new movie "Friends with Kids" is exactly what it sounds like: The comedy focuses on the ways having kids can impact a couple's relationship, as well as their relationships with their friends. It's something Westfeldt and her romantic partner, "Mad Men's" Jon Hamm, have experience with thanks to their own "friends with kids," Westfeldt recently told the New York Times magazine. "Best intentions aside," the 42-year-old filmmaker and actress says, having children "always changes your friendship, at least that first year or so in a way that I think is painful for both of you."
And while Westfeldt's surprised she hasn't yet had kids, she explains that she and Hamm, her partner of 14 years, are unsure if parenthood is for them. “I’ve thought about this a lot lately,” she tells the Times. “I never thought I’d be this age and not have kids. But my life has also gone in a million ways I never anticipated.” One way she and Hamm make their relationship work while in Hollywood is by being "really mobile," Westfeldt continues. "No one’s had to give up an opportunity they really wanted.” So in the meantime, Westfeldt says she's waiting to feel an undeniable urge to start a family. “I kept feeling like I’d wake up with absolute clarity, and I haven’t,” she adds. “And we have a pretty great life together. The chance that we’ll regret it doesn’t seem like a compelling enough reason to do it. I may wake up tomorrow with that lighting bolt, and I’ll have to scramble to make it happen."

Reading comprehension worksheets for kids
So many actors lament their lack of family and yet most of them don't raise their children anyway, a nanny takes over!
Which explains why so many Hollywood rugrats become complete losers later in life, I guess!
Unsure of parenthood? After being together for 14 yrs, yeah, I'd say they're pretty sure. HaHa!
Smart lady, a LOT more people need to NOT have kids in this day and age...
Kinda has an odd shaped face. Big ol' huge cheeks with a funny looking pointy chin.
Smart lady. No one should have kids if they are happy without them. They arent a status symbol.
She sure isn't much to look at though.
