We've seen some solid Whitney Houston tributes since her untimely passing in February, and "American Idol's" Jessica Sanchez turned in another on Wednesday.
The ladies on the Fox singing competition were tasked with singing Houston's songs while the boys took on tracks from Stevie Wonder. Sanchez took the stage to sing one of Houston's toughest, "I Will Always Love You."
Dressed in blue, she didn't hesitate to hit the high notes, prompting judge Randy Jackson to proclaim at the end (with a "yo" preceding it of course), "Jessica Sanchez is legit!"
Jackson continued, "This is one of the hardest songs in the world to sing. You not only are the best vocal of the night, I think you are one of the best singers in this whole competition!"
Jennifer Lopez was speechless, unable to say much more than "amazing," while Steven Tyler chimed in to say that Sanchez just made "40 million people cry."
Take a look at the video below: How well do you think she covered the Houston classic?
