Ryan Murphy looks to have a feature film trick up his sleeve, one that would put together plenty of star power.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Murphy's kicking around a musical comedy concept called "One Hit Wonders" with Sony. The movie would focus on three pop stars who hit it big in the '90s only to find their careers fading just as quickly as they became popular.
Instead of staying down and out, the three form a pop super-group - and it looks like Murphy wants Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow and Reese Witherspoon to fill those roles. He'd also find ways to use Andy Samberg and Beyonce in the cast, although their roles aren't specified.
This is all super-preliminary anyway, as the project isn't a done deal for anyone, nor is there a script. However, should the movie get made, Murphy would write it with his "Glee" counterparts Ian Brennan and Brad Falchuk.
