Sunday night might have belonged to “The Artist,” but Saturday night was all about Adam Sandler.
On the eve of the 84th Academy Awards, Sandler earned a total of 11 Razzie nominations, which honor the worst achievements in film.
The funnyman received Razzie Award nominations for his work on three 2011 flicks, according to the Los Angeles Times: “Just Go With It,” “Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star” and “Jack and Jill.”
Sandler earned a nod in the worst actor category for “Jack and Jill” and “Just Go With It” - films whose leading ladies, Jennifer Aniston and Brooklyn Decker, received nominations along with Sandler for worst on-screen couple.
Meanwhile, “Jack and Jill’s” Katie Holmes landed a nod for worst supporting actress.
“Bucky Larson” and “Jack and Jill” are each nominated for worst picture, along with “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Pt. 1,” “Transformers: Dark Of The Moon” and “New Year’s Eve.”
Which film do you think will take the award when the Razzie Awards are presented on April Fool’s Day?
