Marcia Gay Harden files for divorce

Actress Marcia Gay Harden and her husband Thaddaeus Scheel are going their separate ways.

A rep for the 52-year-old actress confirms to CNN that Harden has filed for divorce from her husband of 15 years.

According to People magazine, Harden, who's picked up a best supporting actress Oscar as well as a Tony, has three children with Scheel: a 13-year-old daughter named Eulala, and 7-year-old twins Hudson and Julitta.

"For the sake of the couple’s three children," her rep says, "Harden would like to request that the family’s privacy be respected at this time."
