A month after giving birth to Blue Ivy, new mom Beyonce is back on her feet. Or, should we say, back in her Louboutins.
The 30-year-old star singer made her first public appearance since Blue Ivy's arrival in New York City last night, when she attended her husband Jay-Z's first performance at Carnegie Hall.
The rapper and industry mogul, 42, is performing there to benefit the United Way of New York City and the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation, with proceeds going to help fight poverty, boost on-time graduation rates in underserved NYC schools and help low-income students across New York's five boroughs go to college.
The singer stunned onlookers in a red, curve-hugging Alice By Temperley dress and Christian Louboutin heels. The New York Daily News reports that Beyonce and Jay moved their celebration to the 40/40 Club, where they hosted an afterparty.
During his Carnegie set, with a 36-piece orchestra backing him up along with his 10-piece band, Jay-Z performed hits like "99 Problems" and "Big Pimpin'," as well as reveling in his proud papa status with a performance of "Glory."
