Gisele Bundchen plays defense for BradyIt appears that Gisele Bundchen joined the chorus of ticked off Patriots fans as she exited the game on Sunday night. According to a video from The Insider, Bundchen appears to get a little testy with some Eli Manning fans who seemed to be heckling the model, who is married to Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. It's unclear if she was aware that the camera was present, because when someone yelled, "Eli rules! Eli owns your husband!" the model didn't bite her tongue. Oscar nominee Mara jets to luncheon after Giants winThe things you learn at an Oscars luncheon. For starters, George Clooney is the friend you want to have in your corner when you need a swanky honeymoon spot. The best actor Oscar nominee revealed that he loaned his villa in Italy out to best actress Oscar nominee Viola Davis so she and her husband could have a newlyweds getaway. "It was so romantic," Davis said. ![]() Nick Carter, center, with (from left) Bobbie Jean Carter, Leslie Carter, Angel Carter and Aaron Carter in 2006. Nick Carter: Why I didn't go to Leslie's funeralSinger Nick Carter did not attend the funeral for his sister Leslie over the weekend, but it wasn't because he didn't desire to. The Backstreet Boy tells CNN in a statement that his decision not to attend was more complicated than that. “I wanted to be at my sister’s funeral, but my family has always had a complicated dynamic," Carter, 32, says. "I love my family...There are so many emotions for me surrounding the loss of my sister. I am trying to stay healthy, positive and focused.” 'X Factor' winner rocks with Elton JohnAs promised, "X Factor's" season one winner Melanie Amaro showcased her pipes while promoting for Pepsi in a commercial on Sunday - and she received some assistance from none other than Sir Elton John. The ad spot had Elton ruthlessly presiding over a medieval court, stingily withholding Pepsi from desiring performers until Amaro comes and puts him in his place (in this case, the dungeon, which was also inhabited by Flavor Flav) with her take on Aretha Franklin's "Respect." L.A. Reid signs on for 'X Factor's' second seasonWhile his "X Factor" colleagues say their farewells, Epic Records Chairman/CEO L.A. Reid is signing on for another season. Both Fox and a rep for Reid tell CNN that the record exec will be a mentor/judge alongside Simon Cowell once again. Reid is the last man standing with Cowell, as former mentors/judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul, as well as former host Steve Jones, all exited the reality competition last week. Randy Travis arrested for public intoxicationCountry star Randy Travis was arrested in Sanger, Texas, early Monday morning for public intoxication. The Denton County Sheriff's Office tells CNN that Sanger police found a vehicle parked in front of a Baptist church very early Monday morning and, upon further investigation, discovered Travis in the car with an open bottle of wine. The police say the 52-year-old singer smelled of alcohol. According to the Sheriff's Office, Travis was arrested shortly after midnight on Monday and taken to the Denton, Texas, county jail. He was given a citation and held because of intoxication until 7:44 this morning, when he was released. "I apologize for what resulted following an evening of celebrating the Super Bowl," Travis tells CNN in a statement. "I'm committed to being responsible and accountable, and apologize for my actions." 'Avengers,' 'G.I. Joe' trailers roll during Super BowlAs Super Bowl commercial breaks have become events in of themselves, there's no better time to roll out new trailers for the year's anticipated films. Clips for "The Dictator" "Act of Valor" and "The Lorax" were among those to pop up during breaks from the football field, but fans were truly amped after seeing a new trailer for Marvel's "The Avengers." As we saw in October, superheroes Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, the Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye have united to help battle Loki and his army, who are trying to take over Earth. 'The Voice' taps former 'Mickey Mouse Club' talentIt’s been months since NBC’s "The Voice" ended its first season, and what better way to return to the game than to debut right after the Super Bowl! As you might imagine, it had a lot of hype to live up to in that time slot on Sunday, but I’m going to go all out and say the season 2 premiere delivered, and then some. Let's start with the “down on my luck” story from 42-year-old Jesse Campbell, who also happens to be a single dad. Katy Perry dedicates Super Bowl song to TebowTim Tebow wasn't playing in Sunday's Super Bowl, but you might've thought he was by the way Katy Perry kept dropping his name. The pop star was on hand in Indianapolis, Indiana to play her first U.S. performance since splitting from Russell Brand in December, and E! reports that she also handed out an award at the NFL Honors ceremony on Saturday. Tebow, who happened to be sitting in the front row of the audience, was called out by Perry, who may have heard the gossip that her parents are trying to set her up with the quarterback. "Hey Tim," Perry said while handing off the first honor of the night, "my parents say 'Hi.'" |
