Gisele Bundchen asks friends to pray for Tom?If a purported email is true, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will be living on multiple prayers when his team takes on the Giants come Super Bowl Sunday. The New York Post reports that it has obtained an email supposedly from Brady's wife Gisele Bundchen that calls out for spiritual support. The message, "filled with a touchy-feely request for 'positive thinking' that one might expect from a Brazilian catwalk stunner" the Post says, begins by addressing friends and family.
The writer notes that "this [S]unday will be a really important day in my husband's life. He and his team worked so hard to get to this point and now they need us more than ever to send them positive energy so they can fulfill their dream of winning this [S]uper [B]owl." To pull it off, the writer asks that the letter's recipients "join me on this positive chain and pray for him, so he can feel confident, healthy and strong. Envision him happy and fulfilled, experiencing with his team victory this Sunday." The Post says that when Bundchen was reached by email for comment on the letter, the supermodel expressed surprise that they'd received it, as it was "a private note only sent to close friends and family."

I haven't wtheacd Supernatural for so long that I have forgotten what happened in Season 2. I may have to watch that season again. Psych and Supernatural are the only two TV shows that I must have on dvd. Oh, and the Simpsons.

Gisele is beautiful, seems to lead a beautiful life, but seriously she gets on my last nerve. If she is SO religious and needs positive energy, perhaps she could have saved her prayers and not stole Tom Brady away from his pregnant girlfriend. She is a idiot. When one is focused on well being and well being only, they dont make see the difference. They're not bad people or evil people. Since when did being sucessful become such a bad thing or a sting for those that dont have it? the reason they probably dont have it is because they're always focused on the negatives instead of looking at all the sucesses of our world. She didn't ask the world to pray for her husband to win. She asked her close, personal friends to. My spouse is out of work; before every interview I ask my friends and family for prayers. I haven't asked them to pray for world hunger or those involved in the war. Does that make me a bad person too?
So it looks like a private email. Did the NY Post hack her account or did one of her friends sell the story? Either way, pretty sad this is what the media stoops to and just another reason why it would s*ck to be famous.

Only in the superficial world of the rich and famous is the prospect of losing a ball game so tragic that it needs prayers to the Almighty.
If someone you loved prayed for you and requested others to do the same so that you may have the necessary skills to carry out whatever undertaking your job required would this not be reasonable and understandable? If you have a relationship with God you will find that he wants your prayers all the time and not only when you require his assistance to avoid something "tragic".
She has every right to ask for prayers, and God is never too busy to hear anyone's prayer...

Why are people surprised she wants people to send HER husband positive thoughts. It seems like a normal request to make. I am sure the wife of the Giants quarterback (if he's married) feels the same way, she just didn't tweet or email it.
