Dog replaces Kim K. in Skechers commercialWe know Kim Kardashian can sell a product - she sells magazine covers like her life depends on it (and, well, we guess it sort of does) - but Skechers is opting for something a little different for this year's Super Bowl spot. In 2011, the sneakers company had a saucy commercial that starred 31-year-old Kardashian in her Skechers Shape-Ups and little else.
But this year, Skechers is replacing Kardashian with a canine, USA Today reports. The French bulldog is seen in the clip racing in the brand's new GOrun shoes against a pack of greyhounds.
Although USA Today notes that Skechers' decision arrives about two months following Kardashian's highly publicized divorce filing from pro basketball player Kris Humphries, the president of Skechers Fitness says bad PR doesn't have anything to do with it. "Kim got us more attention than we ever dreamed," the exec says. Yet as the company tries to grow into "a high-tech running shoe business," they "have to establish Skechers as more than a lifestyle company." Skechers' contract with Kim Kardashian expired at the end of 2011.

MegaLoad. Sears is closing, and Kim's clothing line was stolen from real designers. Mega Load is going out of business. Skechers has many lawsuits. Kim backed a credit card that just ripped people off. If Kim likes it, BEWARE!!!!

The Super Bowl commercial was very s e x y. (Not saying that I like KK) But, how is the dog going to compete with? Has Skechers thought about that? Also, why do all these companies spend all this money on commercials for the Super Bowl and then you never see them again? Just a thought.
So basically, her contract ended and Skechers now has a new ad with a dog in it. Wow, that's really news. When they replace the dog with a cartoon character are you going to write about it as well? Keep me posted on your decision.

She was so stiff in her Sketchers commercial that it's no surprise they replaced her. She couldn't act her way out of a wet paper bag. She is truly talentless, unless you count media wh**e as a talent.
