Sofia Vergara, Chris Colfer headed for 'CNN Heroes'

As in years past, 2011's "CNN Heroes" will be one star-studded affair - and we're not just talking about the heroic honorees.

Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Colfer, Sofia Vergara, Mary-Louise Parker, Ice Cube, Laura Dern, Geroge Lopez and will.i.am are some of the A-list names who will be in attendance for the fifth edition of "Heroes."

The televised ceremony will air on December 11 at 8 p.m. ET, live from Los Angeles, with the red carpet pre-show co-hosted by "Dancing With the Stars" winner J.R. Martinez and "Showbiz Tonight's" A.J. Hammer.

Yes! Chris Colfer, Sofia Vergara and Laura Dern all together in one place! This is going to be an amazing night and it'll be wonderful to see these three along with all the heroes being honoured. Cannot wait.

Chris Colfer is an astounding actor, singer, writer, and all around person, not to mention a Golden Globe winner, an Emmy nominee, and an inspiration to millions of people worldwide. He's starred in a hit television show, gone on two concert tours, one of which was international, written and starred in his own movie, and signed a book deal. In less than a year he will be a published author and screenwriter who has completed his own personal bucket list by the age of twenty-two.
