'Thor 2' loses director Patty JenkinsAs "Thor 2" angles for a November, 2013 release, it looks like the film is on the hunt for a new director. According to Deadline, Patty Jenkins has parted ways with the project over "creative differences." Jenkins, who directed Charlize Theron in her Oscar-winning "Monster" role, was said to have stepped into the position in late September. Entertainment Weekly reports that this shift in direction shouldn't impact the "Thor" sequel's progress, which is expected to begin filming in the late spring.
EW notes that the movie's still in the beginning stages, as "Thor" star Chris Hemsworth, who's been working on "Snow White and the Huntsman," has intimated that while he met with Jenkins to discuss her vision for the film he hadn't received a completed script. But before Hemsworth wields his hammer for "Thor 2," he'll be in "The Avengers," which will open May 4, 2012. |

@ANGEL youre right about the 1st 1 not being very good but Id watch Chris Hemsworth watch paint dry! Hes a hotty!
I'd bang her like a drum.
She probably wanted to do some quality work and the producers probably want to go the route of the Transformer movies, and she doesnt want to associate herself with mess like that!! Honestly the first "Thor" was not that great!!
