Happy 30th birthday, Britney SpearsPop star extraordinaire Britney Spears hit the big 3-0 today. (And we'll admit that makes us feel a smidge old.) The singer is still as big of a pop star as she was more than a decade ago, following the release of her debut album "...Baby One More Time" at the age of 17. Since then, fame and celebrity has taken Britney Jean for something of a bumpy ride.
After delivering four chart-topping albums, starring in 2002's "Crossroads" and dating Justin Timberlake, a 22-year-old Britney married her childhood friend Jason Alexander in Las Vegas in 2004. Fifty-five hours later, it was annulled. Later that same year, she tied the knot with backup dancer Kevin Federline. By 2005, Sean Preston Federline was born on September 14. Baby Jayden James joined the family in 2006, but that same year, Britney filed for divorce from K-Fed. The next year wasn't much better. In 2007, a 25-year-old Britney shaved her head and performed disastrously at the MTV VMAs, but also released her fifth studio album, “Blackout." These days, though, the pop star has another hit album on her hands, "Femme Fatale," and is often seen snuggling up to beau Jason Trawick. We hope her 30th fete is a good one!
