'Game of Thrones' casts its Lord of BonesHBO’s acclaimed series “Game of Thrones” has cast its Lord of Bones, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The outlet confirms that Edward Dogliani has been cast as Lord of Bones in the fantasy drama. The Hollywood newcomer will play the wildling raider also known as Rattleshirt in the upcoming season 2. Author George R.R. Martin broke the casting news on his blog Tuesday, welcoming Dogliani to the fictional continent of Westeros, and adding, "I'm looking forward to seeing you in your bone armor.” So are we!

Betty White's 90th birthday party to air on NBCBetty White is turning 90, and NBC is throwing a party! TV Guide reports that the "Golden Girl's" birthday bash will be aired as a special in mid-January. The senior star’s "dinner-style" celebration will air right around her January 17 birthday. Betty’s current and past co-stars are expected to offer tributes during the event. In addition to actors from “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “Hot in Cleveland,” NBC funny ladies are also expected to provide send-ups.

Tyler Perry: Why I cast Kim KardashianFilmmaker Tyler Perry has been criticized for casting Kim Kardashian in an upcoming film, and Movieline reports he’s taken to his blog to explain why the 31-year-old reality star landed the role. After news broke last month that Perry had cast non-actor Kim in his new project, "The Marriage Counselor," he says the outcry poured into his inbox. "I could not have imagined I’d be getting all these emails about Kim Kardashian. I HAVE SEEN THEM!! YOU HAVE BEEN HEARD!!" he tells his fans. "Y’all gave me a new movie title, Tyler Perry’s 'Diary of a Mad Black Woman Cause You Hired Kim Kardashian, Don’t Make Me Take Off My Earrings and Boycott Yo A**.'" |
