Piers Morgan leaves 'America's Got Talent'As we wait to hear who will host the Oscars, Piers Morgan has announced that he just might be available. As the CNN host put it on Wednesday's show, "his schedule has cleared a little bit" since he's no longer going to be a judge on "America's Got Talent." "I've been a judge since the show began six years ago, and I've loved every single second," Morgan said. "I've discovered that juggling, to my surprise, really is a bit more difficult than I thought."
Instead, he's going to focus more on the upcoming "huge year" at CNN thanks to the 2012 election. Morgan went on to thank the show's production company and NBC, as well as "my great friend Simon Cowell, for giving me such a wonderful opportunity on that amazing show." And while he joked that fellow judges Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel and "AGT" host Nick Cannon "will doubtless be very relieved that they no longer have to work with me," each tweeted their remorse to see Piers make his exit. While Sharon O. asked Morgan not to depart, Mandel took the news more personally. "I guess I'm more annoying than I thought," he joked, adding that he'll miss his Brit co-judge. Cannon, meanwhile, fears he may run out of material. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Now who's outfits am I going to make fun of?" he tweeted. Piers was that extra laugh on AGT; he was that sinical laugh that I loved!
He left some big shoes to fill, and even though the new guy is doing fine, we'll always miss Piers!

That's sux. I was hoping he would leave CNN and stay with AGT. He is really good on AGT. He'll be missed. The CNN gig won't last very long considering all the bad reviews he gets on there.
Morgan has been playing to a script that portrays a mini Simon Cowell–a prissy, arrogant, peevish, superior, condescending, and rude Brit who looks like he is sucking a lemon. Unfortunately, in Morgan's case, it isn't a script, that's really him. Good riddance.
Brandy left, fine. David Hasselhoff left, fine. Piers Morgan left? NOT fine. Piers Morgan is the best thing that ever happened to America's got Talent.
Piers we will miss you. You were the only judge to judge correctly and tried to ensure a "truly talented" person was the winner of someone else's money (sponsors). Why should Sharon & Howie care, its not their money. How many times does Sharon go against her own buzzing of the contestant. She and Howie should be fired. They have no shame when they are so rude to you in public and Howie was disrespectful to send those midgets into your dressing room.
I am sure Simon is not pleased. We are a few weeks behind you with the broadcasts bur the writing was on the wall. You were justifiably dissapointed with their behavior. You were the show.

I totally agree with Brandy! I loved Piers on AGT! His frankness makes me laugh and SO easy to look at!! OMG! Howard Stern...talk about hard on the eyes!!!! Ugh...that show is in trouble. The talent is always fun to watch but the judges draw the audience too.

Why do we giving these no talent limeys our attention? The sheeple think because they have a snooty accent, they must say, do, be interesting or event relevant.
Glad he's leaving. Seemed a bit touchy about everything, didn't like the majority of the "talent", and always having it out with Howie. Now he can spend time with the CNN Gig.
Darn, I thought it read he was leaving America. Wish he would get back across the pond with his accent and keep his opinions about our cultural quirks to his own privy.
