HLN's Nancy Grace sent home on 'DWTS'

Judge Len Goodman told HLN legal eagle Nancy Grace on Monday's "Dancing With the Stars" that she was the Cinderella of the competition, but that the clock had struck 12 and it was time to head home.

Goodman's prophecy turned out to be true Tuesday, as Grace became the eighth celebrity eliminated from the ABC competition. Despite falling short, Grace had nothing but praise for her experience when she talked to CNN after the show.

"The most important thing I'll take away is a new love in my heart, and that would be [pro partner] Tristan [MacManus]," Grace said. "Don't get crazy. We have worked together seven days a week for a long time now and, contrary to the way we were depicted, I actually love Tristan very much, so I'm taking away a new best friend."

Grace plans to donate the money she earned on the show to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

"To all of the viewers who have stuck by me since way back when, thank you for voting for us and for getting to know Tristan. Hopefully you'll have many more seasons to know him," she added.

Grace's elimination means there are now four celebrities left - reality star Rob Kardashian, actress and talk show host Ricki Lake, soccer star Hope Solo and actor and veteran J.R. Martinez.

What did you think of Nancy Grace's elimination? Was the right person sent home?

Although I'm not fond of Nancy Grace, why can't people remember that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. We all have people we like and some we dislike, but it certainly isn't necessary to make such mean comments.

I think Nancy did a great job, dancing and her earning will go to help children. Why so many ugly names she is called/?Anybody that take the remarks that the judges call them has to have a heart of gold. What if someone said those remarks to the judges they would know how it feels to be called those names?

Len's comments were uncalled for.... I do not like her tv show one bit but I thought she was a trooper on DWTS and showed a little human side.

Uh... you DO realize that human beings vote and make this decision, right? There is no such thing as 'deserves to go home' on a show like this. It simply doesn't matter....

I hope all loyal Nancy Grace fans just say "time's up" to DWTS and stop watching. Since she is averaging about 6-8 million viewers a night on her HLN show, that would make a big dent in the show's ratings.

It was past time for Nancy to go. They should do away with the " these are not necessarily the Bottom Two selection" . They give the impression that the couple paired with the couple leaving the show have low marks which might not be the case. It could have been Ricki this week, not Rob at the bottom. Many people do not know that it is the percentages of the judges totals added to the percentages of the American public votes that decides the winners. You could be at the top of the leader board at 20% but if the bottom has 18% they will beat you if they get over 3% more of the public vote!!

She should have gone home long ago. Like, not love her show on HLN, but she definitely is not a dancer. She should have left before David Arquette for sure.
